Thank you for visiting Holly's Website.
We would love it if you would Add to this guestbook!
Though many on Thistledown rallied to create the same memorial by creating a character with the same name and fullfill Holly's last wish to finish the Aerlinthe quest failed. Enough good and honorable intentions were present to honor her memory. Rest in peace.

Its things like this that make Asherons Call so great. Even though many people never met Holly in real life or even in the game, it brings a human touch to it. I hope Holly is looking down on us all and playing somewhere on one of her clouds.

I didn't know the person but this life isn't made for good people... lord knows I am struggling and tons of others are everyday because the vices and evils of this world... we can only pray and hope for the best of everyone as we together approach our destinys beyond 2005... 2pac - "Keep Your Head Up" 2pac "Smile 4 Me Now"... too much crap in this world not worth getting all messed up over... Keep the faith and love... forgive... let go of your stresses... live your life without regret... know people just don't know and there is nothing you can do about it.. <3 Stay up ;)

Holly, in completing her quests, has proven that not only can her strong spirit outlast life itself, but also that beyond parting, her love lives on always in the hearts of those who knew her and in tribute, to those who still come to meet her.

Holly,
I had thought that Asheron's Call was falling into massive pit of petty bickering and XP laundering. Now I see that there are still those that know the truth of the game, people who would rally together to ensure that the dreams of one young hero would be completed as she would.
May God protect those who will mourn for you mylady, and may the star write thy name across the skies for all below on the isle of Dereth to note, and remember.

Hello Holly I never got to meet you I am very sorry about the pain that your family must be going through and I just wanted to share something I had written awhile ago and I thought that it might be apropriate.
Life:
Life is one of the most precious things in this world,
We cherish it, with all our heart,
And when you bring a life into this world, all you want is the best for that life,
You would do anything for them even put your own life on hold for them.
Parenthood is one of the most painful yet at the same time the most rewarding jobs there is, all for the fact that you are so proud of the life you brought into this world,
and no matter what happens between you and your childthe love is always there, from both ends you and your child, no matter what happens nothing can break that love for
nothing can end it,
And when you leave this world you leave it happy for the single fact that you are leaving
behind the most precious thing from you life,
The life you brought into this world

I cried 3 times when I viewed the flash 3 times. I can't help but to cry esp when I see Holly's baby photo flash across my screen. I'm a father of a newborn baby boy and I can fully understand the pain that Holly's family, esp the parents, is going thru'. All I can say is wow! In a world filled with so little time for anything but itself, in a time where the majority has little concern for others, it is commendable to see humanity rise to an occasion to help. The world often stops spinning for those who grieve. Things that may seem small to you or me can be of great personal aid to those in such times. Thank you for keeping my faith strong in what I consider a minority of humanity.

I must say it touched me so deeply i cannot get it off my mind,it made me cry to where i could not finish watching it. me, my family, and friends here in birmingham wish to send our deepest sympathiy to all of your family Holly, and to all those whos lives you touched in AC and in the real world.
what i witnessed and have read about after sunday night has opened my eyes to how this game can be more than just a game to many.that something as sad as this can happen and bring people together all over the world, both in the real world and all the worlds of AC.
having seen and been apart of this i feel different about this game now, and i hope i can do something to keep Holly's memory a permanent part of Asherons Call. I think her story should be.

we miss her terribly and we know that she is in a better
place now without pain. Completing the quest tonight was our way of saying one last goodbye to her. As the message
flashed across the screen, Mark, Lisa, and I sat here with
tears of sadness for what we have lost and tears of happinesscause her name is now written amongst the stars of

heart that she will not see her name in lights. That she
will not see her name join the other brave people amongst

Holly, I never knew you, but today you had a very profound affect upon me. I was honored to be there to celebrate when your character's name went up in lights. I was very touched by the events there today. I never knew you, but not I will never forget you. Out of all the memories that I have from my years in AC, I dont believe any will be nearly as vivid as this one. And because of that, while you live on in Heaven, you will also live on in my mind; and in the minds of all the people who were there today for you and will read about your struggle. I only wish that we all could have been there to celebrate this for you before you passed away. I would also like to say something to all the people I met today from MT, and the other servers. Thank you. Not only for what you did for Holly, but, like on Sept. 11, 2001, there are good and caring people in this world, that will go out of thier way to make a statement of Love. Showing that Holly was loved, and will be missed. Even though she wasnt there to see it. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss. I can only hope that what happened today helps alleviate just a little of your pain. God Bless You. God Bless Holly. And God Bless all the wonderful people who showed today and any other how much they care about the people they share with world with.

I lost my mother of a diffent type of disese. One of the soul and mind. She was abusing drugs. Due to her body being destroyed during her working life. She worked harder then any man I knew or will ever know. Every part of her was broke, from neck to knees. I was so very very angry. Then I hear about this girl Holly, start reading. I wish my mother could have had her courage. Stoping the drugs might have help, but at least now, she does not have any more pain. I fell your pain and your loss. But I have hope also. I will remember Holly because of this game and how she fought. Thank you for this.

It's strange how one event can pull so many people, no matter how far apart they are, so close together. Each day we go through the same routine, we play together in a game that by far has the best community. In most cases, all these people that we meet, that we love, and that we share our lives with.. would've never seen or met us. But still, we move forward, meeting these new people.. creating friends, and even sometimes, loved ones. No one ever stops and thinks about the risks of losing these people without faces. It's just something that the game takes away from you, which is a good thing. It eases our pains, and gives us goals.. sometimes even stretching into the real world to help us move on. Holly was one of us. Many of us didn't know her, but she was no different than a single person that plays Asheron's Call. And because of that, I am greatly affect by her passing away.
To her friends, family, and loved ones.. I'm greatly sorry for all of our loss. But we must remember that she has passed into the greatest fantasy world of all.. I'm not a believe in heaven, nor hell. But I'm not one to say that it does or doesn't exist. But, in my mind.. I know that's where she is, Heaven..
Good luck to you all..

....... bad things happen to good people everyday, everywhere. Yet, everytime I read or hear about one, it saddens me. Good luck to your quest, the quest to help people with leukemia and the quest to fullfill one of Holly's unfinished dream.

When something like this comes to your attention, first you cry, then you ask what you can do about it. About a year I started running a cancer research project by United Devices on my computer. Hopefully one day this will lead to a cure. A star dimmed the day that Holly passed and she will be missed.

I deal with death every day as an ICU physician /in-training as an oncologist. But there is nothing more heart-wrenching for me than when a youg person passes before it is their time. I am happy that Holly found an escape from her suffering, and it is ever more meaningful that the AC community has rallied in her support. I hope she is watching from above...

I send to the family my deepest sympathy. And I am going to contribute money to those charities that helped her thru this.

I didn't know her but wish I had. I have played this game sense release starting on MT, now I wish I would have stuck it out instead of moving to Winters. There are some amazing people that play this game and Holly is one of them, my love goes out to her and the family. We will miss her, I know her spirit fights long side of me. I have returned to MT to fight in her honor. Fireside
